Trust Patron to Visit PNG in Search of Queen Alexandra’s Birdwing
As the Trust’s work to help conserve the world’s largest butterfly takes its first steps, Founding Patron Henry Barlow is planning a reconnaissance trip to Papua New Guinea. Look out for reports in late September.
Rare swallowtail butterfly caterpillars stolen from Hickling Broad nature reserve
Source: The Times This article from The Times of 18 July 2017 describes how five specimens of Milk Parsley, presumably with British Swallowtail caterpillars attached, were stolen from Hickling Broad, a National Nature Reserve run by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust. The police are investigating.
