Swallowtails are the world’s most spectacular butterflies but dozens of species are threatened. What has been done to protect them? Where are the threats coming from, how are they being addressed and what can we learn from projects to date?
In 2021 we created the first on-line conference specifically looking at the conservation work to save Swallowtails around the world.
In 2024 we organised a second on-line titled “Saving Swallowtails: the Apollos and their Allies”
Our particular focus is on the Parnassiinae—the amazing Apollos and their allies. We have brought together a list of expert speakers from around the world willing to share their knowledge on ecology, conservation, and threats to these superb butterflies. All our sessions for these conferences are now available for free on our YouTube channel.
