SBBT is delighted that Prof Dick Vane-Wright has agreed to become our Honorary Advisor on Butterfly Taxonomy. Formerly curator of the world’s largest collection of butterflies and other insects at London’s Natural History Museum, Dick now writes on global conservation and development as well as butterflies and teaches at universities in Canterbury.

SBBT is pleased to announce the publication of post descriptions for the role of Hon Secretary. Details may be found by following the links in Opportunities on the Trust’s website. The Trust would particularly welcome expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced individuals with an interest in natural history, especially butterflies.
